Very merry

I feel obliged to make a 'Christmas' post as every other blogger makes one (or 10). My family doesn't get into the whole Christmas spirit which I'm bummed about, but nonetheless, we take great advantage of the holiday season. I hope everyone had a very merry and safe holiday and soaked up the goodness of family memories! As for tomorrow (boxing day sales) and the upcoming days, get on your macho to grab those kick ass sales (before anyone else)!
As there were no christmas trees, lights, decorations or turkey, here are some photos from a little gift exchange with my girls. The photos bellow are of my friends and I, as well as my fellow pet unicorn, VAS! Who is a christmas present from the two beautiful girls!

Pool side

Whilst most of my family play cards in the air conditioned living room, I head to the pool side in my Havaiannas, sunglasses and with a book in hand to chill out. The weather is beautiful in Sydney, so I took advantage of it, as well as the place I'm staying.
Happy holidays to all and stay safe!

Trippin'

For some, long drives (and I mean more than the drive to grandma's house) are tedious and boring. Waking up at 4:30am when it's still dark outside, and setting out for the 10 hour drive is actually quite therapeutic! Doing nothing for a while but staring out the window is nice, for a change.
Here are some photos from the road trip.

Travel case from Priceline

I'm heading to Sydney for Christmas, and I'm bringing all this shit with me too! I'm one of those people who brings/has everything. The girl in class that is first to pull out of her pencil case her glue stick and scissors when someone asks. That friend who has the hand sanitizer, spare hair tie and band aids just in case. I could basically guarantee half of these items will not be touched, but you have to ask yourself 'what if?'.  What if I need to scrub my lips during the short period of time I'm there? What if I get a huge pimple in the center of my forehead and I need some spot gel? What if I need to put blush on when my cheeks are naturally flushed and the weather will feel like we're all baking in an oven. You know what I'm saying? These items are (not really) necessary!

Get in me

Temporarily I'm not given a packed lunch and an apple for my daily meals, so in replacement, I go out and buy expensive food that makes everyone salivate!

1. Starbucks Gingerbread Frappuccino
This stuff is to die for, I wish it wasn't a seasonal drink.

2. Some Asian meal at some Asian restaurant (Damn this is professional)
Can't remember the name of the restaurant, however it's in Box Hill centro. This meal was delicious! Especially the chicken.

3. Free macaron at a house inspection
How could I resist? It was free! If no one was looking, I would've snatched two!

4. Churros from Madmex
I lost my churro virginity with my friend Saige. It was marvelous and magical all in one.

5. Spinach and ricotta filo pie from Old Pie Shop on Whitehorse Rd
This was a delicious lunch I had with my girls -but for $7.90? Seriously? Do you know how many soft serves I can buy with that? I'll tell you! 26 and a third of one! Damn you expensive cafes! But it was tasty nonetheless. :)

Haul #1

Recently, I purchased a few things from Urban Outfitters, Priceline, Lush and Kit!

  1. Wreck This Journal By Keri Smith. You can find this here for $15.
Looking forward to 'wrecking' this journal in the summer holidays!
  2. Soap and Glory Hand Food -Hydrating Hand Cream. You can find this here for $11.95.
'Hand Food is a silky soft non-greasy hand cream with shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow.'
Damn, I love this stuff! I've only used it a few times, but it smells like I'm floating on clouds or something! Plus, it sinks in super quick.
  3. Lush's Dragon's Egg Bath Ballistic. You can find this baby here for $5.95.
'Bath tub fireworks, fizz, froth, fruity fragrance.'
It smells very floral, and delightful. Apologies for my sh*t description (haha).
  4. Revlon Luxurious Living Lipstick in Blase Apricot. You can find this here for $25.95 or buy 3 for 2.
Priceline is currently having a 3 for 2 sale, but I got mine when it was buy one get one free -score! This colour is so bright and bold, I love it. I find it doesn't stay put on your lips unless you blot it and reapply. It's not drying at all, but I wouldn't say it's moisturizing either.
  5. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten. You can find this here for $17.95 or buy 3 for 2.
I also bought this when it was buy one get one free! The colour is pinky berry. Good for the holiday season! This stain is a serious stain, I couldn't get it off my lips! The next day I was at school, my best friend asked me if I was wearing lipstick... It feels nice and moisturizing when you first put it on, and after a few hours the balm wears off and you are left with permanent colour.
  6. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Set. You can find this here for $12.
I've heard beautycrush on youtube talking about this, so I thought I would pick it up because it looked really nice on her! These might be a gift for someone, or maybe I'll split them up and give them away. Not sure yet. The colours look lovely though!
  7. Kimchi Blue Lace Bandeau. You can find this here for $4.99 currently (IT'S ON SALE!).
Surprisingly, I don't have one of these. I basically consider this an essential, since I have a few tops that have big arm holes. Now I can pull those out and finally wear them!
  8. Daydreamer LA Twisted Low Back Tank Top. You can find this here for $19.99 currently (IT'S ALSO ON SALE!).
This is my baby, especially on days like today (it was 30 something degrees!) I love this top, that's all.
Oh how I'm a lucky child.

Also, shout out to Tess because it's her birthday! Happy birthday!
